A)
Timing: For the 6 days before Class 3, space
your Prep 3 time as shown. You need to complete
Prep 3 before you take Class 3 because it
affects everything that's done during the Class.
B)
Updates: Prep 3 is periodically updated. To ensure
you see each update, clear your
browser history daily and refresh
each webpage you work with.
C)
Directions: You need to follow
all of the Prep 3 directions,
even those that seem insignificant. If you have any questions
concerning any of the directions, send
them to the above email.
STEP
1C: In
the subject line of an email, type
your name and type "1C",
then send your blank email to the email
at the top of this page.
STEP
2C: Watch
this clip which prepares you for an exercise in Class 3.
STEP
3C: Review
the course information in these boxes:
Class
Prerequisite: Throughout the week before each Class, you
need to complete a Class Prep because your Prep work
affects everything that's done during the Class.
Class
Attendance: If you miss part of a Class, you will be placed
on a waiting list for a vacant seat in a future Class;
however, it may not be possible to find you a replacement
seat within ICBC's 1 year time limit for GLP Courses.
Class
Outdoor Activities: Every Class has outdoor activities;
therefore, before you come to a Class, check the hourly weather
forecast and bring an umbrella if there is any chance
of rain (and a jacket if any chance of cold).
Class
Photo Records: Every time you submit coursework, take
a photo of your work beside the attendance sheet and keep
it for 1 year.
ICBC
Document: If you properly complete all parts of the course
within 1 year, you'll receive an ICBC Document
for two Grade 11 credits. If you give it to ICBC before
your first road test, your N-stage time requirement will
be reduced by 6 months if you have no driving prohibitions,
driving violations with demerit points, or at-fault crashes
while you are an N-driver.
Course
Dynamics: Some of the course dynamics are based on the
instructor's experiences with Greyhound, Vancouver Police
Department, Canada Safety Council, Justice Institute of BC
(Pacific Traffic Education Center), Young Drivers of Canada,
BC Ministry of Attorney General (Corrections Branch), Lower
Mainland Public Schools, Vancouver Community College, Dalhousie
University, and Class 2-3-4-5-6 vehicles.
